During the EICR you should expect the power to be temporally off while we are testing and to protect any sensitive equipment such as computers, alarms and severs they will be disconnected.

What we would like from you is to be able to access all fixed electrical equipment in the area of which the EICR is going to take place, this include access to the consumer unit ( fuse box). Also access to lofts, garages, cupboards and anywhere electrical components are located will be needed.

Following completion of inspection and testing you will be provided with a certificate stating whether the installation is satisfactory or unsatisfactory.

Unsatisfactory certificates will include a list of recommended remedial works to bring the site up to a satisfactory level.

NEW INSTALLATIONS (EIC)

New circuits

New circuits in your property normally include: 

  • Building extensions
  • Shed/ Garage supplies 
  • New lighting circuits 
  • New sockets circuits  
  • New or additional cooker/ oven
  • New electric shower circuit

Consumer Units

We provided professional installation and upgrade of consumer unit ( fuse box ) to ensure full compliance with the latest edition of the wiring regulations. This service is designed to improve electrical safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance in domestic and commercial properties.


Our services:

  •  Removal of existing consumer units that no longer meet the current safety standards.
  • Installation of modern metal-clad consumer units in accordance with the current fire containment requirements.
  • Upgrading protection to RCDs and /or RCBOs for enhanced fault and shock protection.
  • Compliance with surge protection device (SPD) requirements where applicable.
  • Correct circuit identification, labelling, and certification.
  • Verification of earthing and bonding to ensure the installation is safe and adequate. 
  • Upon completion of inspection and testing an EIC will presented to the customer.

MINOR ELECTRICAL WORKS

 This could be replacing sockets, lights, or switches or showers. It could also be adding a socket or lighting points to an already existing circuit. this also includes repairs to wiring and fault rectification, All the minor works are inspected and tested to ensure the alteration or repair is safe and compliant.
